A wayside sacrament


This is all too easy to forget, I think:

Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything that is beautiful; for beauty is God's handwriting -- a wayside sacrament. Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every fair flower, and thank God for it as a cup of blessing.

    I totally agree and am so thankful for the beauty of the earth. Sometimes it takes my breath away or puts a lump in my throat. Thanks for this very important reminder.
