The Good SamaritanLove your enemies is probably the most radical thing Jesus ever said. Unless, of course, one considers the parable of the Samaritan. There the admonition is to let your enemies love you.

Some of us find it very hard to allow those who truly love us to love us, i.e. to allow those who love us to do for us. How very radical to allow an enemy to love us. Why is it we find it so much easier to love or do for others?
