"Swirls"I first learned about Richard Rohr when I was living in Ireland in the early 90s and someone gave me a tape of Fr. Rohr speaking on the parable of the weeds among the wheat. I can't tell you how many times I listened to that talk. I subsequently made every effort to obtain recordings of his talks and retreat addresses and later to read his books.
Here's something he said that is worthy of considerable pondering:
The work of religion is to open our eyes to see a world where everything swirls with meaning.
