The divine mystery in things

"Peaceable Kingdom"

Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

--Fyodor Dostoyevsky

  3. The words could just so easily have come from the lips of St Francis
of Assisi whose feast day we celebrate today.
Although this is not my first visit, it's my first time commenting. I really like your blog and find it pleasing to the eye and uplifting to the spirit!

  4. Hello, Veritas. Nice to have you drop by and comment. Yes, those words could have been said by St. Francis. I haven't blogged about him yet today but I will.

I clicked on your name and notice that you're Irish. I lived in Ireland for a while although I'm an American. I do miss it a lot!

I'll check out your blog soon.
